An AR experience activated across 14,000+ retail stores to help people find kindness everywhere.

Project Description

To launch a national Starbucks campaign around kindness, we created a powerful webAR experience to help the store’s communities (including both baristas and customers) to discover and engage in acts of kindness.

Our Edelman team developed the idea and led creative across in-store, in-app and earned media placements. The webAR experience was built in partnership with Tool and Starbucks.

We invited Starbucks partners, customers, and communities to find kindness together. Because no matter our differences, kindness is the good that connects us.

We created a warm and welcoming in-store experience centered on community and small acts of kindness. The design was elevated, human, and handcrafted, intended to spark joy across 14,000+ stores and a Times Square takeover.

The campaign reached 54.2M+ people and saw 333K+ hours spent in AR.
